Business Owners Network looking for Preston businesses
30 March 2023
Get funded, practical, no-nonsense support from the people who know business best - other business owners.
Want to make more money from your existing products and services? Need to know more about how the finances work? Maybe take a fresh look at what you're doing and what's profitable?
Then a new programme delivered locally - which is fully funded - could be the answer. The Boost Business Owners network is looking for 6 more businesses to recruit for the next sessions starting on 20 April.
This peer network is being delivered by Scale-Ability to Lancashire-based businesses. It takes the theme of making more money from your existing products and services by equipping non-financial managers with a better understanding of finance and applying this to their own business.
There is an innovation focus as well, looking at consumer trends, new revenue streams and action planning.
It's practical and engaging as you are learning and interacting as part of a group, and there is the opportunity to learn from each other and make connections etc.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible businesses must have a minimum of 2 employees and £100k turnover.
What to expect
- Fully funded (so no cost to your business), by Boost, Lancashire's Business Growth Hub, the eight sessions are a mix of face-to-face and online.
- Practical Programme tailored for non-financial managers
- Small supportive peer group learning
- Covering finance topics such as Finance Basics, Tax and Funding
- Innovation content includes Consumer Trends and New Revenue Streams
- 1-2-1 coaching alongside the network sessions
The next cohort starts on Thursday 20 April in Preston with an in person 3-hour introductory session at 9.30-12.30pm. Followed by 6 x 2 hour sessions on Zoom, and then wraps up with a final 3-hour face-to-face session.
